Depart from the available location of your choice and enjoy a leisurely ride to Milwaukee. Along the way, we’ll make a stop for lunch (on your own) at a selected location to stretch your legs and fuel up for the evening ahead.

 

Upon arrival in Milwaukee, check into the Tru by Hilton Milwaukee, a modern and welcoming hotel with cozy accommodations and top-notch amenities to ensure a relaxing stay. After settling in, it’s time to head to the ballpark with Loge Infield seats in Section 212 to catch all the action as two legendary teams face off in a heated NL Central rivalry. Enjoy the concessions at the ballpark for your evening meal.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the Tru by Hilton Milwaukee, where you can enjoy a variety of delicious options to fuel up for an exciting morning ahead. After breakfast, we’ll depart for a fascinating tour of one of Milwaukee’s most iconic landmarks—the Miller Brewery.

 

Known as the "Brew City," Milwaukee has a rich history rooted in beer brewing. During the 19th century, German immigrants brought their brewing traditions to the city, transforming it into a hub of beer production. By the late 1800s, Milwaukee was home to some of the largest breweries in the country, including Miller, Pabst, Schlitz, and Blatz. These breweries earned Milwaukee its reputation as a leader in American brewing, a legacy that continues today.

 

Step into this historic world with a 70-minute guided tour of the Miller Brewery, where tradition and innovation meet. Highlights of the tour include:

 

  • The Brewhouse:

    Discover the art and science behind brewing as you learn about the ingredients and processes that create Miller’s signature beers.

  • Historic Caves:

    Step back in time as you explore the brewery’s historic underground caves, once used for storing beer before modern refrigeration.

Activity Level 2: RELAXED

Expectations: This tour requires light physical activity combined with shorter travel days. Tour members should expect intermittent walking, with occasional slight inclines and stair climbs, including boarding the motorcoach. Activities may include an occasional city or nature walking tour, stopping along the way. Guests should be able to climb a set of stairs, walk up or down slight slopes and navigate some uneven terrain or cobblestone. Please be aware that on tours with flights and cruises you will be required to handle your own luggage and walk longer distances in airports and cruise terminals. In addition, you may need to handle your own luggage at hotels where luggage handling is not available.

 

Appropriate for: Travelers who are somewhat physically fit and comfortable with longer days of touring (both walking tours and coach time).
