Caribbean Escape 2025

Day 1

Day 1: Thursday, January 16, 2025
The Journey Begins
Depart from the available location of your choice aboard one of Burlington Trailway’s luxury motorcoaches with one of our friendly hosts and drivers and head off towards the turquoise blue waters of the Caribbean! Be sure to have your sunglasses, sunscreen, and warm weather gear packed with you. This evening we overnight at the Drury Inn & Suites Hayti Caruthersville, MO.

Day 2

Day 2: Friday, January 17, 2025
New Orleans
Enjoy a hot breakfast buffet before departing the hotel this morning and we continue on our way to New Orleans, LA for an overnight stay. We will take our usual rest and refresh breaks, along with a lunch stop, along the way. This evening is yours to enjoy as you wish in the fun city of New Orleans with dinner, on your own.

Day 3

Day 3: Saturday, January 18, 2025
Set Sail
Wake up and grab breakfast at the hotel - today is the day you have been waiting for … departure day upon the Brilliance of the Seas! Once onboard you can quickly unpack and start exploring your new ‘home away from home’ for the next week! Be sure to go up for the sailaway to watch the ship pull away from dock and set sail. Visit the Shore Excursion desk today to book any last minute excursions that you may not have already selected.

A Day at Sea
Enjoy a leisurely day at sea doing whatever you please!

Day 5

Day 5: Monday, January 20, 2025
Cozumel
Arriving at 8:00 am, your first port of call is the vibrant island of Cozumel, Mexico known for its rich cultural history and incredible natural beauty. Here, you can explore the ancient Mayan ruins of Tulum, venture into the depths of the turquoise waters on a snorkeling or diving expedition to discover the world-famous coral reefs, or simply relax on the soft sandy beaches with a refreshing drink in hand. Cozumel offers a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, making it a favorite among travelers.
We set sail today at 5:00 pm.

Day 6

Day 6: Tuesday, January 21, 2025
George Town
Good morning – today we arrive in George Town, Grand Cayman where pristine white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters await. Spend your day swimming with gentle stingrays at the famous Stingray City or take a trip to the vibrant coral reefs for some of the best snorkeling and diving in the Caribbean. For those who prefer to stay on land, Georgetown offers a delightful array of shops, cafes, and restaurants where you can sample local flavors and shop for unique souvenirs. Tendering begins at 11:00 am until 7:00 pm today.

Day 7

Day 7: Wednesday, January 22, 2025
Relaxing at Sea
Enjoy a full day of cruising at sea. A great start would be to have breakfast and coffee out on your balcony this morning with a fresh omelet or a steaming stack of pancakes! Take a peek at the available activities today or grab your swimsuit, sunscreen, and sunglasses for a relaxing afternoon by the pool with drink in hand.

Day 8

Day 8: Thursday, January 23, 2025
Progreso
Your destination today is captivating Progreso, Mexico on the Yucatan Peninsula, a region brimming with cultural and historical treasures. Visit the iconic Chichen Itza, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, where you can marvel at the ancient Mayan pyramids and learn about the region’s fascinating history. For a more laid-back experience, you can explore the charming colonial town of Merida or enjoy the beautiful beaches along the Gulf of Mexico. The Yucatan is a place where history and modern culture blend seamlessly, offering something for everyone. 8:00 am arrival and 5:00 pm departure times today.

Day 9

Day 9: Friday, January 24, 2025
Fun at Sea
Enjoy your final day of cruising at sea before we dock back in New Orleans tomorrow morning. Make sure to hit all the areas of the ship you may not have yet visited or go back to your favorites

Day 10

Day 10: Saturday, January 25, 2025
Back on Lasnd
Be sure to fill up on breakfast as we cruise in to dock this morning and then meet in your designated area for disembarkation today. We bid a fond farewell to the warm Caribbean waters and begin our journey back to the Midwest with an overnight stay at the Drury Inn & Suites Hayti in Caruthersville, MO again.

Day 11

Day 11: Sunday, January 26, 2025
Journey Home
Take in the hot breakfast buffet before boarding the motorcoach for the final leg of our journey home. Hopefully you have soaked up the sunshine, enjoyed the lively island atmosphere, and made unforgettable memories on this journey as you explored, relaxed, and took in the best the Caribbean has to offer!
