Day 1 – Travel day

Overnight at the Drury Plaza Hotel Cincinnati-Florence with the Kickback Reception to be utilized as dinner or explore local nearby dining options at your leisure.

 

Day 2 – Discover the Ark Encounter

Experience the wonder of the Ark Encounter, featuring a full-sized replica of Noah’s Ark built to biblical dimensions. Explore three decks filled with fascinating exhibits, life-sized animal figures, and engaging displays that bring the story to life. Enjoy lunch at Emzara’s Buffet, with a meal voucher included.

 

After a full day of exploration, return to the hotel to partake in the Kickback Reception or dine at a nearby restaurant on your own.

 

Day 3 – Cathedral Basilica & Creation Museum

Depending upon Cathedral availability, begin the day with a tour of the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, a stunning landmark featuring exquisite stained glass and breathtaking architecture. Then, continue to the Creation Museum, where biblical history comes alive through state-of-the-art exhibits, botanical gardens, and a planetarium. Take your time exploring before enjoying an included lunch with a provided meal voucher. In the afternoon, board the coach and begin the return journey home with an overnight stay along the way.

Activity level 2: Relaxed

Expectations: This tour requires light physical activity combined with shorter travel days. Tour members should expect intermittent walking, with occasional slight inclines and stair climbs, including boarding the motorcoach. Activities may include an occasional city or nature walking tour, stopping along the way. Guests should be able to climb a set of stairs, walk up or down slight slopes and navigate some uneven terrain or cobblestone. Please be aware that on tours with flights and cruises you will be required to handle your own luggage and walk longer distances in airports and cruise terminals. In addition, you may need to handle your own luggage at hotels where luggage handling is not available.

Appropriate for: Travelers who are somewhat physically fit and comfortable with longer days of touring (both walking tours and coach time).
