Join us at the Port of Burlington where you’ll meet your Trailways host for the day on the dock area to check in before boarding the Celebration Belle for a day of cruising fun and delicious food.

 

Enjoy the day sailing along the Mighty Mississippi River and take in the sights as well as the adventures. How many times might you’ve been caught sitting on the Santa Fe bridge in Fort Madison, oftentimes impatiently, waiting for the slow-moving river traffic to pass through? This time you’re on the opposite end of that spectrum and won’t really care how long it might take! Delight as you travel on down the river to the dam in Keokuk where you will lock through, again, with a view from the river side rather than sitting up on the land. Continue on your way taking in the striking views and the wildlife with the Captain giving you some narration along the way.

 

Oh, but the food…we did mention there’d be delicious food, right?! Start your morning off right with fresh fruit and the best homemade sticky rolls you can find cruising on the Mississippi! Lunch will not disappoint, and, just in case you may get a bit hungry in the afternoon…some very tasty snacks will be put out for you to enjoy. But, be sure to save some room as you will be dining on a delicious Prime Rib dinner before docking in Hannibal.

 

Once in Hannibal, you will depart, say farewell to the Captain and crew, then board one of our luxury motorcoaches waiting to whisk you back to the Port of Burlington where you began your day.

Activity level 1:

This tour requires average physical activity. Participants should be in good health, able to walk reasonable distances, possibly uneven ground, unpaved roads and/or some stairs.

 

Deposit & Final Payment: A $30 deposit per person is required within one week of reservation. Must be paid in full by May 24, 2023.

No refunds will be issued after May 24, 2023.
