Day 1: Monday, November 14, 2022
Join us from the available departure location of your choice, meet your friendly onboard Trailways host and driver, then settle in as we head for Branson! Enjoy rest and refresh breaks, as needed, as well as a stop for lunch, on your own, before we arrive at the Hilton Branson Convention Center this afternoon.
We’ve changed things up a bit this year and were able to get some great rates at the Hilton right across from The Landing! Check in and freshen up before this evening’s dinner and show.
Start the evening out with a ‘50’s flair with an included dinner at Jackie B. Goode’s Uptown Café. Not only are they known for their classic American food and desserts, but they also provide live entertainment during the dinner hour from the hits of the 50’s, gospel and top country hits. (By the way, they make a mean milkshake too!)
Your evening menu should include your entrée choice of: Prime Rib; Hawaiian Chicken; Jumbo Fried Shrimp; or Country Fried Steak all served with its own side, a garden salad, hot roll, iced tea, coffee and a small sundae for dessert.
After dinner, we depart for Dean Z’s Rockin’ Christmas Show AND the Ultimate Elvis at the Clay Cooper Theatre! We continue on with our 50’s theme and if you an Elvis fan, be ready to swoon this evening as Dean Z takes you back to the day when Elvis WAS in the building and the definite King of Rock ‘n Roll! While you may have seen impersonators of Elvis before, prepare yourself to be amazed with Dean Z! He is the only Elvis tribute artist to host SiriusXM’s Elvis Radio channel, and currently serves as an ambassador and contributor to Graceland and the Elvis Presley estate.
With a powerful 11-piece band, horn section, vocalist and immersive video content you will be provided with a truly unforgettable concert experience! You will soon understand why Dean Z was voted as Branson’s Entertainer of the Year and Tribute Show of the year.
Return to the hotel for a great night of rest – it’s a big, busy day tomorrow!
Day 2: Tuesday, November 15, 2022
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning before we start the day off with one of Branson’s Top Morning Shows at the Branson’s Famous Theatre – Doug Gabriel! One of the area’s most prolific entertainers, he has been a showman in the area for over 25 years and manages to connect with each audience member. Voted ‘Branson’s Best Male Vocalist’ eight times throughout his career, Gabriel not only has a beautiful voice, but he also has incredible guitar picking abilities. While his fingers fly up and down the guitar neck, Gabriel strums across the only guitar in the world that is fashioned out of a 1969 Thunderbird muffler. With his world-famous mufftar, Gabriel plays this unique instrument with a talented cast of world-class musicians to put on a high-energy and highly entertaining show. Meet and enjoy the rest of his family as they join him for numerous songs, dancing and skits. (Trivia Tidbit – did you know he is from Cedar Rapids, IA and had his own band as young as 10 years old?!)
Enjoy lunch, on your own, at the Pickin’ Porch Grill today. Choose from their many menu options and perhaps still have a bit of time to explore the Branson Craft Mall – all located in the same building!
After lunch, depart for Christmas Wonderland at King’s Castle Theatre. We just couldn’t miss out on one of Branson’ largest holiday productions! With a sparkling cast of singers and dancers you will be taken on an unforgettable and magical sleigh ride to a grand Christmas extravaganza! Ring in the spirit of the Christmas season with high-energy dance, elaborate costumes, beautiful scenery and production numbers with the highest-kicking chorus girls this side of the North Pole!
Dinner this evening will be included at Landry’s Seafood House. Landry’s offers a true taste of Gulf Coast tradition. Enjoy a plated meal with your choice of entree: Top Sirloin; Chicken and Mushrooms; Broiled Lemon Pepper Tilapia; Fried Gulf Shrimp. All include salad, bread dessert and coffee, iced tea or water.
Tonight’s show will be at the Mickey Gilley Shanghai Theatre where we see Deep in the Heart of Christmas - The Texas Tenors! JC, Marcus and John will take us on a musical journey Deep in the Heart of Christmas with their musical talent and harmonies. The Texas Tenors have now released 5 studio albums, 4 DVDs, and even a children’s book that have earned them some impressive recognition with 3 Emmys, Billboard magazines #10 Classical Artist in the World and an award for excellence in children’s literature. It’s no wonder they are the most successful music group and third highest selling artist in the history of America’s Got Talent!
Day 3: Wednesday, November 16, 2022
After breakfast, head over to the Majestic Theatre for The Sons – Music Celebration! The dynamic 3-part harmony of this group has become an absolute favorite for morning shows in Branson. Getting their ‘start’ at Silver Dollar City in 2005 they had crowds of 150-200 people standing listening to their music. They sing a variety of Southern Gospel, a little bluegrass and great Ozark Christmas music too.
Next, depart for the Keeter Center. Located on the tranquil campus of the College of the Ozarks, you are in for a unique Branson dining experience for lunch. Their hardworking culinary staff of students provide a warm welcoming smile and excellent service. After lunch, take time to visit the gift shop where you can purchase all the wonderful food products produced on the campus. From jams, jellies, corn meal and other milled grains, salad dressings, and their famous fruitcakes, you are sure to find not only goodies for yourself, but perhaps also for friends and family for Christmas gifts and/or stocking stuffers.
Return back to the hotel for some time to rest and freshen up for dinner. OR, go and do a little Christmas shopping at the The Landing before this evening’s evenets!
This evening, arrive at the Grand Country Resort for a dinner buffet. Here you can have a meal reminiscent of dinner at Grandma’s house with slow-roasted succulent roast, fried chicken, country ham and more all complete with side dishes of vegetables, mashed potatoes, salads, fresh-baked breads and desserts.
After dinner, it’s time for the Grand Jubilee right here at Grand Country! You will enjoy the spectacular music, family comedy and Ozarks hospitality made famous by one of Branson’s longest performing shows. Mark, David, Luke & Jon sing all your favorite Christmas songs. You have not heard I’ll Be Home for Christmas until female vocalist Jackie Brown sings into your heart! Grand Jubilee Show celebrates the true meaning of Christmas with Conrad’s Recitation/Away in the Manger and a heartwarming reading of Luke 2:1-20 The Birth of Jesus. Celebrating 20 years in Branson you will soon see why they are still going strong and considered a cornerstone of Branson entertainment.
Return to the hotel for the remainder of the evening, on your own.
Day 4: Thursday, November 17, 2022
